Hello!
Well, this is the trumpet
blowing page where we say how nice we are and how good we
are with Dogs!
Of
course, that's true, but it's probably better if you and
your dog(s) judge for
yourselves!
We're mature adults (errr....middle
aged) with over 40yrs combined doggy ownership experience
under our belts,
including many years undertaking dog assessments, home checks,
fostering and transport runs for various dog rescue
organisations.
Add in
100's of sessions in the obedience hall (we have three dogs with
Kennel Club Gold, KC Silver and KC Bronze (I trained our
family dog when I was 12yrs old and we won a rosette!) ,
30+ sessions of
agility, stacks of gundog training and gundog working, plus
all the work we do with our customer dogs................so
hopefully we won't "undo" the training you've
undertaken with your
dog!
We are experienced dog owners / handlers
and we can usually help with the
typical training and behaviour issues most dogs go through at some stage, including
pulling on the lead and recall! If we think your dog needs
specialist referral – including for veterinary care or
aggressive behaviour - then we will discuss this with
you. Rest assured, we don't pass judgement and we don't
give lectures!
We are based in Cwmbran.
We're not "wannabe" vets. If our own, or a client's
dog(s), is sick or injured, then it needs to be examined
by a vet. If medication is required, then this needs to
be the "real deal" pet meds, not homebrew remedies
off of the internet! Basic First Aid for dogs is not
dissimilar to basic first aid for humans. We have
attended a Canine First Aid Course which included
practical sessions on canine resuscitation (using
dummies), observing vital signs, bandaging etc.
Neither are we or pseudo canine psychologists!
